A great opportunity for an experienced Chef De Partie to join the team at one of the leading private hospitals in South-West London.
Key duties and responsibilities: To manage a section of the kitchen and work under the guidance of the Head Chef To prepare and cook dishes following recipes. To ensure that dishes are cooked and presented to the required standards. To assist with developing recipes and planning the menu To train Junior Chefs and other kitchen staff and play a key part in their career development. Ensure the kitchen is clean, tidy, and organised always. To always comply with COSHH regulations and Health & Safety policy Key requirements: NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery, or equivalent qualification Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 Passion for cooking and high standard culinary skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Good inter-personal and communication skills Ability to work well in a team This is a full-time ongoing position with a possibility of a permanent contract following a successful probationary period of twelve weeks.
Hours of work: Mon-Sun, 5 days a week, rota system. Shifts: 06:00-14:00, 07:00- 15:00 and 11:00- 19:00
Rate of pay: £16.48 p/h
