Position Overview:
We are seeking an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating and managing costs for ground works, fit-out, refurbishment, and ideally some M&E projects. Candidates with more seniority and those aiming for higher salary bands should possess comprehensive experience beyond just fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for ground works, fit-out, refurbishment, and (ideally) M&E projects.
Manage the financial aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
Line up quotes and package drawings for submission.
Run with assigned projects independently, consulting the Commercial Manager and/or Pre-Construction Manager as needed.
Collaborate with the pre-construction and commercial teams to ensure all aspects of the project are covered.
Handle multiple tenders simultaneously, as evidenced by recently managing £8 million and £11 million projects within a three-week turnaround.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all project documentation and cost reports.

Requirements:
3-4 years post-university experience in estimating and quantity surveying.
Proven experience in ground works, fit-out, refurbishment, and some M&E is preferred.
Strong understanding of construction processes and cost management.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Steady employment history demonstrating reliability and consistency.
