It’s an exciting time to join the Operational Excellence Team here at AXA UK where we’ve an opportunity for an individual to join the team as a Business Process Management Lead. Reporting into the Head of Operational Excellence, you’ll work with business areas across AXA UK and Ireland to solve business problems, define and analyse the current state, leading to the design and delivery of measurable improvements.
We recognise the need for opportunities leveraged by having a well-controlled and up to date documented process repository. The Centre of Excellence (CoE) has been created to act as a central point for the whole of AXA UKandI to learn and share best practice, agree and maintain standards and to administer the process modelling tool (Aris).
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at our offices or visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, such as part-time or condensed hours, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead Business Process Centre of Excellence to support the build assurance and development of an Enterprise Business Process Model / Repository in order to have an integrated view of the Enterprise
Work closely with the business units and central functions to agree and monitor quality standards and to drive alignment
Ensure data sources are up to date and fit for purpose
Work with Business Architecture to design and develop a coherent framework to enable best practice sharing and deliver tangible value to the business
Seek and share best practice in process discovery and analysis and business activity monitoring using process mining through developing connections with external communities
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we are gaining maximum value from the Repository
Upskill existing Business Analysts in the team on process modelling and analysis
Support reporting and queries from the community
Act as advocate to integrate strategy into transformation portfolios, individual initiatives and business cases, including operating model impacts
Apply lean and/or six sigma methods to support the operational excellence agenda
Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.
