The Oncology team are looking for a Clinic Co-ordinator who is a professional, effective and an efficient team player to line manage, and monitor and support Cancer waiting lists, and oversee Oncology clinics.

You will provide an administrative service to Oncology, and to all its users including patients, services, relatives and colleagues.

Previous experience of clinic management is desirable, as is a knowledge of cancer waiting times. This role would suit an ambitious individual with a drive to develop the service, themselves and their team.

1. Responsible for managing a professional , effective and efficient service to patients, relatives, colleagues and Trust Staff through effective management of self and team
2. Use a wide range of effective and timely communication skills acting independently to explain, analyse and interpret information/data.
3. Deal with and deliver decisions and actions modifying and adapting communication methods using persuasion and tact within delegated sphere of authority
4. Be accountable for planning, prioritising and organising work load ensuring work produced by yourself /team is of the quality and quantity required ensuring expected Trust and department standards and deadlines are met identifying and escalating areas of concern
5. Effectively role modelling a professional and welcoming service treating patients, relatives, colleagues and Trust Staff in a friendly and courteous manner presenting a good image of yourself through your attitude, behaviour and appearance
6. Take responsibility to ensure that the environment is safe and of a professional appearance and manage the reporting of any problems, organising of repairs/collection of waste as required

7. Monitor and manage the team to ensure the efficient and effective use of departmental equipment and resources

Work effectively and efficiently to apply a working knowledge of best practice and review and implement as instructed better ways of working, sharing ideas with others to improve service delivery and transformation.
