Join us as YouView’s Data Insights and Enablement Manager. You will be responsible for bringing together our Data function and leading the way towards data-driven decision-making across YouView. You’ll have broad and lasting influence on all aspects of data from its creation to its use, both within and outside our business.
Responsibilities:
Data Partner: Lead the formation of data partnerships with teams throughout YouView to educate and proactively embed the use of data. Working towards a future with self-serve at its heart.
Measure What Matters: Ensure that the Data function is actively measuring its impact by defining and reporting on team KPI’s.
Leadership and Mentorship: Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a diverse team of data product owners and analysts, fostering their growth and development.
External Data Sharing: Strengthen the processes which allow the sharing of data with shareholders and trusted partners. Ensuring we can turn data into strategic assets for YouView and its shareholders.
Data Governance Policies: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to uphold data quality, integrity, and security standards across YouView.
Data Quality Assurance: Partner with engineering teams across YouView to evolve and implement data validation and quality assurance measures helping to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in data assets.
Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data and insights projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and stakeholders' requirements.
Team Culture: Cultivate a positive and collaborative team culture where innovation, idea-sharing, and mutual support thrive, empowering team members to excel and contribute to the team's success.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data management, analytics, and cloud computing, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals, requirements, and expectations.
Accountability and Recognition: Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team, recognising and rewarding individual and team achievements to drive motivation and engagement.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape our Data function, lead a high-performing team, and drive impactful insights that contribute to YouView’s success. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in driving responsible and scalable innovation and excellence in our analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
