Crynodeb
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Hatfield Distribution Centre, Hertfordshire in our Stock Integrity Department as a Clerk. Our Regional Distribution centres supply our 198 cash and carry sites with all their products including Fresh, Frozen and Ambient stock.
This role is open to UK residents within a commutable distance only.
The main duties involve taking telephone calls from suppliers or hauliers who require a time to deliver stock to the Distribution Centres. Liaising with the Backhaul team and Supply Chain with regard to Backhaul deliveries. Producing daily intake records for Goods In to an agreed daily limit of pallets. This role is imperative to the smooth running of both the goods in and goods out functions.
Our Clerks usually work, Monday to Friday, double days: week1 – 06.00 – 14.00, week 2: 14.00 – 22.00.
Knowledge of database applications.
Knowledge of Locator Warehouse Systems.
Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Email.
Good organisational skills.
Good knowledge of spoken and written English language.
Ability to be proactive and work well under pressure and be of a calm disposition.
Flexible approach to their workload.
Good team player and position approach.
Excellent telephone manner as this is a customer facing role.
