Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.
We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Arboriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Professional Tree Surgery, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness and Uniformed Public Services.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Canine and Feline Training and Behaviour Lecturer/HE Course Manager with experience of supporting students through Canine and Feline Behaviour and Training programmes to join our Veterinary Nursing Department/Team here at our York campus. This role will be working 22.2 hours per week, on a permanent basis.
We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for course and module organisation in addition to teaching across Canine and Feline Behaviour and Training programmes.
Educated to degree level or above in a relevant subject, candidates should hold a teaching qualification. With excellent knowledge a breadth of Canine training and instructing fields, you will have experience of supporting higher education students.
