COMMUNITY FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER (CFSW) X 2.
37 hours a week NJC – Scale 5 – 12 – 17. £26,421 - £28,770.
A fantastic opening has arisen at our well-established charity, and we are looking for two enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated people, who are team players to fill these roles, who have experience of working with children, young people, and families. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the right people who have a genuine passion for helping children, young people, families, and individuals and making a difference in the lives of others and the community we serve. The aim of the role is to give practical and emotional support, helping children, young people, and families to bring about positive sustainable change to their lives. Duties involve supporting families in their own homes; offering parental advice and support, practical hands-on work that includes heavy moving and handling in helping to reorganize and make homes safe, also, running adult and children/young people’s groups, befriending and mentoring sessions, fundraising, and social activities.
