Leicester Sound & Lighting: AV installer
We're looking for a dedicated and dependable worker to work with our team of AV installers on current construction projects. You'll work on a range of construction projects while adhering to directions from the site supervisors. No prior experience in working on relevant projects is necessary. Additionally, you need to demonstrate physical strength and endurance. To install cables, connections, and AV equipment (speakers, Amplifiers, TV, videowalls, wall controllers etc).
Work can include working at heights using step ladders, on scaffold platforms, podiums and mobile elevated platforms. (PASM and IPAF license would be an advantage but not an essential).
To be successful in this role, you must be a quick learner, able to work well in a team setting, enjoy working inside and outside and be able to perform strenuous physical tasks.
Ideally: CSCS Apprentice Card or Labours Card is sufficient to be allowed access on sites.
Employment: Starting April 2023. Full-time 6 months initial contract with potential for permanent contract.
Location: Working out of town
Times: Dependant on location, 8 hours, lunch 30mins unpaid, 40 hours per week. 7:30am – 4pm/ 8:30am – 5pm. Pick up generally from Fosse Park area.
