The prominent West End firm advise clients in a range of industry sectors, including hospitality, leisure, media, tech, and financial services, and legal services spanning corporate, property, litigation, licensing and gaming, employment, property litigation, construction and planning. The firm also has a focus on fair and equal work environments, operating ethically, and working hard to reduce their environmental impact.

The firm's Property Litigation team comprises 1 Partner, 1 Senior Associate and 1 Trainee. It forms part of the wider Property team that comprises 4 partners, 3 Senior Associates, 3 Associates, 2 Solicitors, 2 Paralegals, 1 Trainee and 1 Legal Secretary. They regularly advise landlords, owners, occupiers, tenants, property managers and developers, in relation to a wide range of properties including retail, offices, industrial, leisure, restaurants, pubs and residential on a wide range of commercial and residential property litigation matters.

The team are seeking a junior solicitor (6month - 2 years 'PQE) to join their offices in London. As part of the role, you will be involved a range of commercial and residential litigation matters including:

  • Opposed and unopposed lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
  • Interim and terminal dilapidations
  • Development and overage disputes
  • Property management advice
  • Enforcement of lease covenants and other contractual obligations
  • Service of break notices
  • Forfeiture and possession claims
  • Removal of squatters
  • Trespass
  • Boundary and rights of way disputes
  • Party wall and rights of light disputes
  • Adverse possession
  • Landlord and tenant insolvency
  • Recovery of arrears of rent and service charges
  • Collective and leasehold enfranchisement
