This really is an exciting time to join the Recovery Focussed Team during this period of ongoing development. We are seeking individuals who are highly motivated, who ideally have experience of working with individuals with a range of mental health problems. This position will be working in the Assertive Outreach Team, in the Recovery Team.

The Recovery Focussed Team is an all age adult ( 18+) Secondary Mental Health Community Team providing care to individuals with a variety of mental health problems including psychosis, non-psychosis and organic conditions. We are always looking at developing the service and pathways we provide as a team and welcome any ideas on improvement.

We offer strong clinical support, supervision and multidisciplinary team working. We pride ourselves on being a supportive team that welcomes innovation.The last two agency nurses who worked with the Team, liked us so much they secured a permanent post and stayed! We have staff who has declined better paid posts, just to remain in the team. New staff coming into the team have described in as “supportive, inclusive, friendly”. Despite the ongoing pressures services face, staff enjoy coming to work here.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team as Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse. The right candidate will be enthusiastic and a highly organised mental health professional who is able to provide high quality nursing care and assessment.
The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive Community Mental Health Nursing Service across a whole range of clients experiencing mental ill health. The service will be delivered in collaboration with representatives from other agencies and therefore the ability to work independently and with partner agencies is essential.
It is essential that applicants can demonstrate post registration experience as an RMN, which may include inpatient and community settings.
In addition, it is expected that the successful candidates will provide independent or supplementary prescribing and be willing to undertake the relevant training.
