We are looking for a Permanent Full Time Logistic Support Officer (officially title Cadet Administrative Assistant) at Cambridgeshire ACF, based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.
Are you an organised individual with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, who is computer literate, able to learn new systems quickly and able to work with minimum supervision? Good communication and inter-personal skills are also required.
Range of tasks include:
• Management of ACF Properties
• Stores Management and Accounting
• SHEF Management
• Cadet Training
• Security
You must have experience of, and preferably be qualified in, Safety, Health, Environmental and Fire matters and Stores Management. The successful candidate must complete the Ammunition Storeman’s course within twelve months of taking up post, if not already qualified. You will be expected to travel throughout the region and be flexible with working hours as some evening & weekend work will be necessary.
This post is for 47 hours per week including lunch breaks. This position attracts a current salary of £29,100 p.a. plus lots of additional benefits.
Additional benefits include:
• Up to 6 days Special Paid Leave for volunteering

• 25 days annual leave rising (1 day per year) to 30 days after 5 years (previous HM Armed Forces service and previous service in the Public Sector may attract additional entitlement)

• 15 Days Special Leave a year period to for volunteer military reserve commitments

East Anglia Reserve Forces and Cadets Association (RFCA) is an arms-length public body of the Ministry of Defence, mandated to give advice to the Defence Council, manage the Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ estate, deliver community and employer engagement for Defence, and provide administration services to the Army Cadet Force.
