Link3 Recruitment are seeking a talented and creative Food Technology Teacher required to start work in one of our Secondary Schools located in Derby.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and energetic people who are committed to providing the highest quality education to secondary school children across Derby.

Job Details:

This Food Technology Teacher role is a full-time to start September, on a temporary basis, with good potential of becoming a permanent position!

We require an eager and passionate Qualified Teacher that will innovate and raise standards as well as attainment. A good sense of humour, the ability to relate and effectively communicate with young people are essential.

To be successful for this Food Technology Teacher role, you will:

• Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS).
• Have previous experience working as a Teacher or within a Secondary School setting.
• Have good understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
• Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.

• Have a passion for working with young people.
• Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
• Innovative and resourceful teaching methods.

Essential Requirements:

As a minimum, all applicants must have:

• Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS).
• A positive approach to child development, managing behaviourand be passionate about your area of expertise which is evident in your teaching.
• Applicants will be subject to pre-employment checks and should hold current DBS check registered to the update service.
