Job Title: Revenue Assistant
Salary: £24,636.28 per annum pro rata
Location: Stafford with hybrid working
Hours: 25 hours per week, fixed term for 6 months

Are you looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Assistant to join Housing Plus Group, within our Finance Team on a part-time, fixed term basis for 6 months.
The Role
You will assist with the day-to-day administration of transactional processing on the rent systems within the Finance department. As part of your role, you will log and post payments and charges and amendments to customer rent accounts in the Rent Ledgers in a timely manner; process the termination and letting of properties on the housing system, issue customer refunds and prepare former tenant invoicing. You will also assist the Income Support Officer with the posting of all payments and receipts to the relevant ledgers in a timely manner and assist the Income Support Officer with posting of cash book entries and reconciliation of all bank accounts on Open Accounts
Skills and experience required:
Experience and understanding of social housing and construction sector (desirable)
Computer skills: general IT skills and excellent working knowledge of Excel (including pivot tables, lookups)
Demonstrable commitment to excellent customer service in all activities and able to identify customer needs and resolve issues
Demonstrate initiative in developing working practices to be more efficient and effective and to drive through continuous improvement.
