Summary
Albright Education Centre is a progressive and vibrant learning community that focuses on raising the aspirations and potential of every pupil at the school. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated Administrative Assistant to fulfil this role at our school. It is an exciting opportunity for someone to work alongside our specialist staff team.
The successful candidate will:
● be able to work independently and as part of a team.
● have a good standard of spoken and written English and Numeracy.
● have excellent communication, IT skills, organisational and interpersonal skills.
● be able to be able to prioritise their workload, multi-task and deal with an unpredictable and busy workplace.
A knowledge of SIMS is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
The school provides a continuation of education for pupils who, due to medical, psychological or psychiatric difficulties, are unable to attend their mainstream school.
All staff are offered Continued Professional Development opportunities to suit their needs.
Previous experience of site management is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. The school provides a continuation of education for pupils who, due to medical, or Social, Emotional & Mental Health difficulties, are unable to attend their mainstream school. As part of the safeguarding process, the successful candidate must have full enhanced DBS clearance to work in the school and will not be able to take up their appointment until cleared.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children’s Barring List Check. If you are barred from working with children you are breaking the law if you apply for this post
