Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
Collecting, understanding and documenting the business requirements for change initiatives
Translating requirements into functional and non-functional requirements (in use cases)
Requirements validation pre-project and translating requirements into functional and non-functional requirements.
Support with analysis of new product developments, understand the business problems and opportunities to fix those problems.
Work in a fast paced environment, supporting the iterative process of learn, build and deliver, ensuring maximum value and minimal disruption across the business.
Analyze and document process/work flows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from clients on the specifications.
Define scope, budget and schedules for operations and special projects. Analyze and track hours for Managed Service Providers and Development team.
Investigate and troubleshoot issues including monitoring logs and performing regular transaction audits.
Assist with finance and audits along with outside accounting requirements when needed, Accounting tool and General team management.
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Research, implement, and support new finance system implementation when necessary.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
3 to 4 years of experience performing a business analysis role in an agile environment.
Expertise with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or QlikView
Proficiency in requirements management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or IBM Rational DOORS.
Expertise with requirements management tools such as JIRA, Trello or Confluence to capture, organize and track requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Familiarity with process modeling techniques like BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) to visually represent business processes and workflows
Knowledge of prototyping and wireframing tools like Azure, Balsamiq, or Sketch to create mockups and prototypes of software applications
Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems like Salesforce.
Delivery of KPI reports and other associated information.
Knowledge of and experience with Agile project management methodologies including SCRUM and Kanban.
Experience in data related roles, demonstrating customer focus and knowledge of core concepts around ingestion, cleansing, processing and data quality
Worked in areas identifying and applying technology solutions to solve business problems (ideally using agile methodologies)
Experience with QA, Business User Testing and/or User Acceptance Testing (writing user stories) preferred.
Knowledge of process modeling techniques, such as BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation), and process analysis tools like ARIS or Visio.
Knowledge of modern cloud architectures and technologies will be preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Macros, SQL, VLOOKUP or Microsoft Visio in Excel)
Certified CBAP, CCBA will be an added advantage
