As a Healthcare Assistant at St Peters Hill Surgery in Grantham, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care following practice procedures, ultimately improving our patients' quality of life. We're committed to your professional growth and will provide developmental training, including on-the-job training, e-learning, and access to our in-house education portal GP Teamnet. Your Responsibilities: Working with supervision and guidance of a registered nurse, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Maintaining equipment supplies in clinical rooms and in own treatment room area. Advice and guidance about healthy lifestyles and signposting to other support services. Carrying out health checks with patients and supporting other clinical health reviews including home visits to carry out health care reviews as appropriate. Infection control audits and compliance work (Practice Nurse is Infection Control Lead) Blood pressure recording and other chronic disease reviews (appropriate to role) ECGs Phlebotomy Respiratory support to patients with asthma would be an advantage. Experience of INR (Warfarin monitoring) process and requirements would be an advantage.
