The Company
Focus Independent Adult Social Work is a member led, Community Interest Company (CIC) delivering statutory social services, including safeguarding, for adults in North East Lincolnshire. Formed in 2013, we employ approximately 160 staff and work collaboratively with local charities, other social enterprises, the local Council and Health organisations to improve the well-being of local people whilst delivering an ethical and caring social work service. We are based in modern riverside offices close to the town centre and are keen to promote and support flexible working.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone to join us as a Social Work Manager. The role will support the delivery of effective Adult Social Care services in North East Lincolnshire, through management of operations, resources, information and people. Working in triumvirate, with other Social Work Manager colleagues, you will lead and manage the social care teams across Focus.
We are looking for someone who can build on the good work that has already been done, and to help shape our future direction, priorities and culture, whilst ensuring we retain our core values. We are looking for a self-motivated individual, and a leader who can inspire and empower people to achieve organisational objectives, ensuring service delivery is strengths based and outcome focussed.
You will need to be confident, often in challenging and difficult situations. You need to have a wide knowledge of adult social care, have a high level of communication skills and be experienced in collaborative working across a range of different partner agencies.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and passionate Social Worker to make a real impact to Focus and the people we support.
If you are looking for a role which offers you autonomy, an opportunity to expand on your experience and work at a leadership level. If so, then this may be the opportunity for you!
What We Can Offer
In addition to a competitive salary we can offer you a fantastic benefits package which includes a generous annual leave allowance (starting at 30 days), pension scheme, free on-site parking, various flexible and blended working arrangements, a full on-boarding process, access to continuing professional development, professional supervision and a range of employee health and well-being initiatives.
For further information about this post, please contact:
