Are you an experienced marketer looking to make a difference? This is the role for you!

As one of the country’s leading care providers, with an exciting growth plan over the next few years, we’re looking for someone to help us stand out from the crowd in an increasingly competitive job market.

As a Marketing and Events Officer with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll work across our Recruitment and Marketing Teams to support a range of marketing activities to promote our job vacancies.

You’ll coordinate and support activities such as:

digital and printed marketing collateral
recruitment open days
local and national careers events
offline recruitment advertising such as billboard, bus and radio advertising
blogs, case studies and content to support recruitment.

About Exemplar Health Care
Exemplar Health Care is one of the country’s leading nursing care providers for adults living with complex needs.

We have over 50 care homes across England that support adults living with complex mental health needs, dementia, neuro-disabilities and physical disabilities.

As well as stable and secure employment opportunities, we offer great benefits and perks, and plenty of opportunities to learn, develop and progress.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to use your marketing, event organisation and communication skills to make a real difference!

The role is varied, but as a general guide your responsibilities will be to:

identify the tactics and platforms that will be most effective in reaching our audience
advise on, source and work with external agencies to promote key roles through offline advertising such as billboard, bus and radio advertising, working closely with our Digital Recruitment Marketing Manager to coordinate integrated campaigns
work as part of the Marketing Team to uphold our brand and promote us as an employer of choice
coordinate and facilitate recruitment open days in our care homes
support and plan attendance at local and national careers events
work with our in-house Designer to produce, maintain and update our digital and printed marketing collateral for recruitment.

About you
Above all, you’re someone who identifies with our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success and teamwork.

We’re looking for someone who has:

excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills, able to work in line with company writing style and brand guidelines
the ability to create impactful and persuasive advertisements and copy
the ability to communicate in a clear manner both verbally and in writing, for a range of audiences
experience planning and delivering marketing campaigns, utilising a range of online and offline marketing channels
a creative eye for developing engaging content and collateral for a range of marketing channels
experience updating website content via a CMS (we use Drupal)
a proactive attitude to developing and sharing engaging and high performing content on social media
the ability to write to tight deadlines and manage a diverse workload
experience working with external agencies.
As a natural organiser, a large part of your role will be facilitating open days in our care homes. Therefore, you must be willing to travel.

It’s desirable that you live within travelling distance of our head office in Rotherham and be able to travel there once per week. Home-based working is an option for the rest of the week.

What we offer
In this role, you’ll work in a supportive Marketing Team, with lots of opportunities to learn and develop your skills.
