We are looking for a passionate Specialist Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic stroke and neuro therapy team. You will work across the professions of both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy, providing specialist treatments, as well as demonstrating a degree of assessment skills. You will be flexible in your approach and be able to provide cover across both inpatient and community settings. You will have opportunities to work with patients on an individual level, as part of a team, and in group settings. You will be supported by a specialist team of therapists and will be facilitated to continue to develop your knowledge and skills in this exciting area.

There will be a requirement for seven-day working as part of this role, and varied shift patterns.

To support patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals by providing treatment programmes.

To complete stroke /neurology specific therapeutic interventions under the direction of by Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists.

To act as a key worker for patients on caseload providing feedback to clinicians.
