Summary
You will have an opportunity to work with supportive teams and committed colleagues. To supervise and support the ward staff in their day-to-day work and development, promoting the concept of interdisciplinary team working. To provide information, training and support to promote effective patient care and discharge from the ward area. Provide leadership to Healthcare Assistants and peers to ensure a high standard of patient-centred care. Under the direction of the Ward Manager to contribute to the monitoring and auditing of the standards of care in the ward area. To attend the multidisciplinary team meeting and ensure key issues are shared across the ward team. Responsible for the effective and efficient use of resources. To work proactively as the ward and bed co-ordinator as rostered, ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained.
