This is an exciting opportunity to join our integrated Medical Sciences team, which is dedicated and committed to delivering cutting-edge professional education in partnership with students and our clinical colleagues. The team has a range of skills and knowledge in research and education, and this post provides excellent opportunities for collaboration and inter-professional learning and working. The school is proactive and responsive, working collaboratively with stakeholders to build upon its existing excellent undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
We are seeking to appoint a talented Lecturer who will contribute to the delivery of anatomy teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the School of Medicine as well as externally delivered courses. You will provide a range of teaching services such as assisting with or delivering practical sessions, lectures and seminars, and carry out problem-based learning tutor duties. The Medical Sciences team teaches across our medicine, physician associate and paramedic science programmes within the school using appropriate teaching, learning support and assessment methods. The Anatomy Department is responsible for delivering teaching to programmes from other schools within the University, as well as to Royal Colleges and specific clinical disciplines. You will also have some opportunity to engage in activities to extend, transform and apply knowledge acquired from scholarship of teaching, seeking to develop appropriate internal and external collaborative and dissemination activities.
