Crynodeb
The post holder will work within the Estates & Facilities department to assist in the provision of an efficient and effective service. The post holder will support the Medical Equipment team and the wider Facilities Team if required in a range of activity as required to meet service requirements but with specific responsibility for the daily operational running of the Trusts Bed Store at Peterborough City Hospital & providing Help Desk Services for areas outside of the PFI Contract.
To provide a Help Desk service for Medical Equipment and Estates and Facilities services covering areas outside of the PFI contract including Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Stamford Hospital. Principally this will be weekdays between the hours of 15:00hrs to 16:45 or as required to ensure service provisions are met, such as covering holidays or sickness.
To undergo training as necessary to meet the needs of new developments within the Service.
To manage and maintain the Estates computerised database system (Planet FME) as the main system administrator for the Trust and to train other users when necessary.
To manage and maintain the purchase ordering Equipment spares i.e. mattress covers, mattresses etc. and invoicing, coding and receipting process for the department.
To organisation the daily requirements hospital bed, trollies, mattresses etc. to ensure the smooth running of the Medical Equipment/ Facilities department and the wider Trust.
Responsible for the maintenance of full records for audit purposes, the typing of letters, memoranda, reports and minutes from written text or audio.
Assist with the maintaining of specalised databases, spreadsheets relating to statistics, i.e., medical equipment records, staffing lists, sickness, Majax details.
Deal with the dissemination of a variety of correspondence.
