BCA are looking for a Change Analyst to join our Tech Operations team who are responsible for the facilitation and governance of the Change Management process, including the analysis, QA and management of change requests within the Service Management toolset.
Reporting to the Change & ITSM Product Manager and working with all IT teams and partners, the IT Change Management analyst will have responsibility for activities required to facilitate BCA Change Management process.
Key responsibilities
Assistance in day to day Change Management administration and reporting and meeting activities.
Updating Documentation, service library, catalogue and other systems associated with changes to products, infrastructure
Effectively help manage the end-to-end change lifecycle and identify process improvements where possible.
Identification and allocation of relevant change approvals
Conducting & verifying post implementation reviews, investigating issues arising out of change implementation
Reporting of change to both internal and customer management teams as required
Production of Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Forward Schedule of Change (FSC) reports & minutes
Participate in internal & customer end to end user groups to improve the efficiency of future deliveries and business processes
The Change Analyst will help drive continuous improvements to the quality and efficiency of the change management process
Ensure operational teams adhere to the standards within the IT Service Management toolset
Deputising for Change & ITSM Product Manager where required.
To undertake any other miscellaneous or non-recurring duties related to the role as and where required.
Key Skills
Extensive experience in working within an ITIL framework with a solid understanding of Change Management principles.
Strong analytical capabilities, highly organised and excellent relationship management skills
Showing demonstrable leadership skills, including strong communication skills to all management levels
Ability to prioritise and effectively plan within a rapidly changing environment
Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks
Strong team player
A strong understanding of how people embrace and manage IT change
Demonstrable evidence of being adaptable, open to and seen as a driving force of effective IT change
Proven ability to engage and partner with senior stakeholders across any number of business functions.
Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and a flexible “can-do” attitude
Ability to influence others at all levels of the organisation, whilst moving towards a common vision or goal
Comprehensive understanding of ITSM processes (preferably with ServiceNow)
Proven ability to gain and interpret data into meaningful outcomes
Strong analytic, decision making abilities and problem-solving skills – particularly demonstrating a creative approach to problem solving
