Permanent Support Worker positions available - must be available to work Mon-Sun on a rotary basis, which may include sleepover shifts. Rotas completed weeks in advance to encourage work/life balance
12 MONTH UK EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL. MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE 12 MONTHS OF UK CARE/SUPPORT REFERENCES.
Starting rate is £12 per hour, £62 per sleep in shift, increased rate for weekend work, full paid induction and training days, free DBS check, 28 days per year annual leave, including bank holidays (pro rata for bank & part time staff), staff incentives, discount schemes available, wellbeing support, advice and guidance. Rotas completed in advance to encourage work/life balance.
Due to continued growth we are urgently seeking part time and full time support workers to join our team of caring support staff.
Our specialised supported living service offers high-quality, person-centred care and support. Our aim is to ensure our clients are leading fulfilling lives, including accessing activities, educational and training opportunities and support to look after their physical and mental wellbeing.
We are looking for experienced, energetic and compassionate staff who can enhance the lives of our clients and bring a positive contribution to the staff team. We have worked hard to create a kind, caring and considerate team who look after each other and work together to ensure consistency within the services, this is complimented by a caring management team who are always available to clients and staff.
We require staff members who can use their own initiative and problem solve, who also have that creativity factor and can engage our clients in meaningful and exciting opportunities such as accessing a gym, swimming, hiking, shopping, arts and crafts etc.
Your role will include prompting clients to be independent, encouraging engagement in cooking, cleaning, shopping, budgeting sessions, job seeking etc.
CQC and Ofsted registered supported living company.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 45 per week
