Main duties include:
- Design fashion items that reflect the latest trends while maintaining the brand’s unique identity.
- Collaborate with the Dressmaker to ensure designs are practical and can be brought to life with high-quality craftsmanship.
- Work with the Graphic Designer to ensure product visuals align with the brand’s aesthetic and appeal to their target audience.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques.
- Participate in the creation of seasonal collections and limited-edition releases.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback and insights for future designs.
- Ensure designs meet budgetary constraints and production timelines.
Skills and Education:
- Proven experience in fashion design, preferably in women's fashion.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous work and design skills.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Excellent understanding of the fashion production process, from concept to retail.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
