Childcare - Term Time only - No Weekend Work - Morning and/or Afternoon Out of School Care, CPL Support Worker positions are available in the following areas :-
Newton Mearns (G77); Clarkston (G76); Scotstoun (G14):
Term Time hours, Monday to Friday available hours:-
Breakfast Club: 7:45am - 9am
After School Care: 2:45pm - 6pm
The Role
The role of CPL Practitioner at MACS is to provide quality experiences which are fun, stimulating and creative for the children in our care. You will also promote nurture, Inclusion, individual choice, and support development and learning of all children in your care. As a SSSC registered professional, you are expected to uphold the Codes of Work Practice and MACS values and mission statement by role modelling in a professional manner that fosters mutual respect and understanding the role.
Skills and Qualities:
Be able to communicate with children and people at all levels due to the collaborative nature of the role.
Have a sense of fun, creativity, and imagination to promote positive relationship with children.
Promote high-quality child led play opportunities and demonstrate the continuous development of the play setting to meet the needs of each child.
Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous professional development.
Support and coach staff as required.
Reflect on practice to act on and improve their own practice and that of colleagues
Qualifications Required:
Must hold a SVQ level 3 or equivalent
Must be willing to undertake certified training.
Must undergo Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme checks.
Must undergo Reference checks and complete SSSC registration.
Must be able to provide at least 1 Childcare Reference.
