Our Opportunity
At the Stockton Sixth Form College site, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher who has a passion for teaching A Level Business and A Level Economics. You will be able to motivate, enthuse and challenge students to produce the highest quality work, and effectively assess, record and track students.
A full time contract equates to 24 hours of contact time per week. This role could be offered on a job share arrangement, with the individual teachers teaching either Business or Economics. Please indicate on your application form which subject you are interested in if you wish to discuss part time/job share arrangements.
Your main place of work will be Stockton Sixth Form College but work at other sites across the Trust may be required.
You will have:
• A degree (or equivalent) in a related subject
• Class teaching experience gained either in a school or college setting
• High levels of skill in leading teaching and learning
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to working with students from a range of different backgrounds
The ability to teach BTEC Business would be an advantage
