Salary Details: £13.60 per hour (27 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, between 9am - 9pm)

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Youth Development Lead to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of young people. The role involves creating and implementing youth development activities and services to achieve three development objectives;

1. Build Emotionally Resilient Young People

2. Raise Aspirations of Young People

3. Develop Leadership in Young People


Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver school-based development workshops aimed at enhancing the personal and social development of young people.
* Coordinate and facilitate youth development activities at VIBE Open Access service, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
* Develop and implement engaging programs and initiatives that promote the holistic development of young people, including educational, recreational, and skill-building activities.
* Build positive relationships with young people, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
* Work collaboratively with other staff members and external partners to design and deliver innovative youth development initiatives.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of youth development programs and activities, making recommendations for improvement based on feedback and outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, progress, and achievements, ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies.
* Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers and youth workers involved in delivering youth development activities.
* Stay informed about current trends, issues, and best practices in youth development, incorporating new ideas and approaches into program design and delivery.
* Represent Conquer Life CIC in a professional manner at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities, promoting our mission and values

Qualifications & Experience:
* Previous experience working with children or teenagers is essential
* A background in youth work or related field is advantageous
* Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with young individuals
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting youth development
* Relevant qualifications or experience in education, youth work, or a related discipline
