Crynodeb
See attached job description for specific details of the post. The overall aim of this post is to help the Ophthalmology Department to develop and consolidate the undergraduate teaching programme and course material, and to explore alternative methods of teaching, to cope with ever increasing student numbers. The post will commence from August 2024 and is for 12 months. Royal Derby Hospital provides clinical teaching for medical students from the University of Nottingham Medical School. From 28 February 2022, the University of Nottingham Medical School implemented a new curriculum. Ophthalmology sits within the new Foundation to Practice Phase 1 (FFP1) course and it runs from February to October each year for an intensive two week attachment dedicated to Ophthalmology for 14 students.
