We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Support Officer to join our newly formed Community Occupational Therapy team. You will be part of a wider Promoting Independence and Community Occupational Therapy service that consists of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy assessors, Business Support and a Specialist Equipment officer. Part of the focus of the role will be to assist the service in the administration of processes around provision of adaptations and liaise with the team and housing sector as part of your role.

Our Business Support Officers play a critical role in supporting teams to meet the administrative demands and consider innovative solutions to meet the needs of the service.

You will have:
NVQ level 3 in business administration or equivalent.
Experience of working within administration, social care, health and/or contract management disciplines.
The ability to work calmly under pressure and manage multiple processes at any one time
A proven track record of providing administrative support in a fast paced and pressurised environment delivering speedy outcomes.
Excellent customer service skills.
Previous experience within a local government environment, and knowledge of local government regulations and procedures.
