We’re recruiting a Pensions Consultant to join our small, dynamic internal pensions team. Providing technical, governance and administration support to our two pension schemes. You’ll lead on supporting and guiding our employees through the complexities of pensions.
We’re seeking prior pensions knowledge, preferably including final salary experience. You’ll play a crucial role in overseeing and working with our external third-party providers, in particular our external administrators. This is also a great opportunity to lead on agreed pension projects, working with all the Scheme’s advisors (e.g. lawyer, actuary and administrator).
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at our London or Bristol office, with adhoc travel to London necessary for collaborative working and meetings.
What you’ll be doing:
Secretarial services to the scheme’s Trustees, their sub-committees and working parties. Update, prepare and maintenance of Diligent (where meeting papers are held).
Responsible for the day-to-day governance of the life assurance arrangements for current employees.
Management of meeting arrangements, minute taking in some instances and progressing required actions.
Monitor 3rd party administration providers, addressing member queries and ad-hoc benefit calculation, including the resolution of complex cases and complaint cases.
Development and delivery of communication strategy for our current MasterTrust and our legacy Defined Benefit members. Organise and attend pensions roadshows for our current employees.
Manage the invoice processes and provide quarterly updates to the Trustee board.
Report to and work with the Head of Pension Administration and Trustee Service, delivering specific projects in a timely and effective manner. For example, Pension dashboard, GMP equalisation and valuation. Annual projects include high earners communication, bonus sacrifice and report and accounts.
Ensure administration aspects of Scheme governance are monitored and maintained.
Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.
