Teaching Assistant Needed in Erdington

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream one-form entry primary school in Erdington, to start immediately and continue until the end of the academic year.

This full-time role is to work one-on-one with a child with Autism in the school's reception class, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

To apply for this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 qualification
- Commitment to a long-term position
- A DBS on the update service or issued within the last 12 months
- Minimum of two good references
- Experience working in a UK primary school with SEN
- Experience working with ASD

Responsibilities for the role:
- Supporting the class teacher with daily activities
- Assisting the children within the class
- Addressing the social, emotional, and educational needs of the children
- Ensuring the safety of the children
