We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Manager to join our clients team in Leeds. The successful candidate will report to the Asset Information Lead and will have direct and indirect reporting relationships with internal employees and external parties. This role involves managing supplier partners, senior business stakeholders, and collaborating with other government departments. Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting and Management:
- Directly manage the Asset Information & Soft Landings Support (HEO).
- Liaise with supplier partners, senior business stakeholders, and other government departments.
- Provide extensive expertise in the construction industry, particularly in Design, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or Asset Management.
- Utilise IT systems for managing information through the Building Information Management (BIM) or Soft Landing approach (e.g., Autodesk BIM360, A-site, Viewpoint) during Design and/or Construction phases.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge in information management and lifecycle management within the construction or property industry.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure governance and compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Relevant experience in project delivery.
- Strong supplier relationship, contract, and commercial management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Visio, PowerPoint, Project, and Power BI.
- Experience in building modelling activities (4D & 5D).
- Capability in problem solving and process management (development & implementation).
- Extensive application of the UK BIM Framework (including ISO19650 documents and standards).
- Experience in developing and/or assessing 3D models and project data through all RIBA stages using software like Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam.
- Delivering COBie information with a strong understanding of file formats (rvt, dwg, ifc).
- Delivering projects to Government Soft Landings/BSRIA soft-landing principles.
- Specifying and/or assessing Environmental, Social, Security, and Economic outcomes of projects.
- Familiarity with Post Occupancy Surveys focusing on asset management.
- Improving digital records/data through Government Soft Landings or BSRIA principles.
- Experience in the construction industry, multi-disciplinary design office, or property profession.
- Degree/professional body accreditation or suitable experience (e.g., Architecture, MSc Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and Design, MSc BIM, RICS Certificate in BIM, CIBSE Digital Engineering).
- Working towards a qualification in project management.
