Full time/part time: BANK SHIFTS.
We are recruiting for a dedicated, proactive and responsible Pharmacy Systems Coordinator to join our dynamic team. You will be working shifts on our Bank, and therefore it is essential that you are flexible and reliable.
You will be an effective communicator, possess excellent customer service skills, have the ability to resolve queries and technical difficulties under pressure. You can also participate in dispensing and pharmacy weekend rota.
As a key member of the team, you’ll be working onsite in our pharmacy back office, where you will be responsible for providing technical support resolving basic technical issue, and training our users of Pharmacy Systems: Ascribe, C2 Safe, Digitrak, Pyxis, Powergate and the hospitals financial system.
You’ll manage, monitor and maintain the hospital temperature system – Digitrak, and provide systems support to the users within the pharmacy for dispensing, inventory management, stores, purchasing and distribution for systems issues and developments.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
You’ll work with key stakeholders and clinical engineers within the hospital to ensure accurate and appropriate temperature monitoring system.
You’ll maintain pharmacy system databases with accurate cost prices and contract prices, assist billing and provide near real time price updates.
You’ll support the daily Controlled Drug charging reconciliation including Theatre charging.
You’ll monitor the daily stock take reports produced in Ascribe. Report and assist in resolving significant discrepancies and support the annual stocktake.
You’ll be active in staff training and updating of Standard Operating Procedures of pharmacy systems.
Assisting in identifying and implementing service improvements
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
NVQ level 2 Pharmacy Assistant or equivalent (essential)
Experience of working with Temperature Monitoring Software (essential)
Relevant experience working in a UK hospital pharmacy environment ( essential)
Demonstrable working knowledge of word, excel, powerpoint and outlook (essential)
Digitrak trained (desirable)
Pyxis ES System manager trained (desirable)
Ascribe System Manager trained. (desirable)
Ability to analyse and resolve IT issues: troubleshooting skills (essential)
