The Opportunity:

The School of History, Classics and Archaeology are looking for 4 Cultural Heritage Framework Programme (CHFP) assistants to join the CHFP project team

This post is a fixed term guaranteed hours post, the post will be for 100 hours from June or July 2024 for 12 months.

The CHFP Assistant will assist the CHFP Project Manager in providing and contributing to the provision of the websites run by the Cultural Heritage Framework Programme, as an official Action of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030). The Assistant will have procedural and administrative responsibilities for the operation and functioning of the SeaVoice online platform, and administration related to CHFP activities.


Your skills and attributes for success

-Studied/studying (or equivalent) an ocean related topic
-Understanding of the concept of Marine Cultural Heritage
-Awareness and understanding of the Goals of the UN Ocean Decade
-Working knowledge of Word Systems, processes and procedures including standard software packages.
-Interest in sharing ocean science with the general public
