A medium sized housing developer has a brand new traditional project starting up in July and is looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join their team!

This business is quality focused and is looking for an Assistant Site Manager who is passionate about detail and high standards.

Job Duties:

• Assist the Site Manager in day-to-day operations on the construction site
• Ensure that all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and tradespeople
• Manage and monitor site progress and report to the Site Manager
• Oversee quality control and ensure high standards are maintained

Required Qualifications:

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
• First Aid certification

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in an Assistant Site Manager role with a housing developer.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of traditional house building techniques
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good problem-solving abilities
