About us
Ash-Shahada Housing Association (ASHA) was established as a Muslim-led housing association, the first of its kind to be established in the UK in 1989. As a registered social landlord, ASHA has been providing housing in hostels, flats and houses in the prestigious London Boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark. Although established as a faith led RP it operates as a generic organisation whose Board, tenants and staff represent diverse faiths and communities. About you
We are looking for an experienced and creative Director of Housing to join our vibrant team. You will be responsible for meeting the needs of the tenants and ensuring the condition of homes achieves their high standards as well as those of the regulator. You will be managing a small team in-house as well as external supplier to deliver a range of services.
Essential criteria
- Experience as a Director of Housing, Senior Manager, Head of Assets, or similar.
- Strong understanding of the housing sector and current trends.
- Proven experience in budget planning and cost management.
- Expertise in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Experience managing small teams and external suppliers.
- Proficiency in data analysis, IT systems, and report writing.
- Knowledge of health and safety and regulatory standards in social housing.
