We have an exciting opportunity to work in a pivotal role of Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive and Chair.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a small team and will have highly developed organisation skills and excel working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. They will have experience in working in a politically sensitive area, using their tact and discretion in managing meeting requests, emails and correspondence.

As an experienced Executive Assistant you will work as part of the team providing support to our Executive Directors in a fast paced environment, working with a high degree of discretion and initiative, dealing with highly complex and confidential material, using excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, tact and versatility to maintain an excellent service.

The post holder will need to be highly organised and efficient, able to multi-task and use their initiative to manage and prioritise a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a large complex organisation as at a similar level.

To provide an expert executive assistant service to our Chief Executive and Chair, providing a vital reputational and representational visibility at all levels to people both internally and externally.

In this role you will play a pivotal role in supporting Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust's Chief Executive, providing Executive Assistant support.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing a complex and very busy diary for the Chief Executive, including arranging meetings, travel and venue booking.
• Managing the Chief Executive's in-box, using tact, discretion, and diplomacy to ensure that correspondence is handled appropriately.
• Ensuring that crucial stakeholders are kept appraised of latest developments, to support decision making and planning.
• Collating and distributing complex information/statistics, using sound judgement and good drafting skills.
• Support the Chief Executive in their attendance at conferences meetings and other events.
• Providing an extensive Executive Assistant Service to the Chief Executive and the Chair.
• Collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders to organise meetings.
• Co-ordinating arrangements for meetings and events as well as preparing correspondence, reports and presentations and producing minutes
• Supporting with drafting materials such as articles for communications and engagement.
