The Impact You Will Have:
As a Fitness and Wellbeing Coach, you’ll be at the forefront of promoting health and fitness within our centre. Your
responsibilities will include maximising the utilisation of our Health & Fitness Studio, achieving key performance indicators, and
developing tailored training programs through fitness MOTs. You’ll also spearhead health initiatives, promote facility usage,
ensure safety compliance, and maintain equipment functionality. Working closely with the Duty Manager and Fitness Lead, you’ll
play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and secure environment for all members.
What You Will Bring:
We are looking for candidates who possess a YMCA Gym Instructors/Fitness Diploma or equivalent at level 2, along with a genuine
passion for sports, health, and exercise development. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential, as is the
ability to remain composed during emergency situations and thrive in a collaborative team environment. Desirable qualifications
include a current First Aid certificate, exercise to music qualification, and coaching certifications. The ideal candidate will
leverage their fitness expertise to engage, communicate, and support others in achieving their wellbeing goals within our dynamic
Leisure Centre setting.
