With a range of over 1,000 products, their range is constantly updated following the latest trends in the Kosher Food industry. Specialising in the frozen food sector our extensive selection includes products in the chilled and ambient categories, both for the retail and food services industry.

You will ensure the warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently by following set routines. You will lead and oversee the Warehouse Team, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.

Are you the right person for us?

• Live within a commutable distance of Tottenham Hale
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory warehousing role
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing clear direction and setting objectives
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address resource gaps
• Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of quality and timely service
• Excellent organisational skills to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations through established routines and procedures
• Spanish Language speaker would be preferable but not essential

What will your role look like?

• Overseeing a team of 8
• Provide a safe working environment by adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures, ensuring they are understood and practised by the team at all times.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure orders are processed efficiently and meet customer requirements and KPIs.
• Work with Management to determine staffing levels, control order picking, goods in, and goods out operations, and assign workloads. Deploy staff to other areas within the warehouse as needed to meet priorities. All while following routines set up by management.
• Maintain storage areas by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, and recommending improvements.
• Organise, facilitate, and manage regular stock takes.
• Identify errors, eliminate root causes with robust countermeasures, and recommend improvements, working with the product control team.
• Implement warehouse and management systems and best practices in conjunction with Management to support continuous improvement.
• Monitor and review operational methods to achieve qualitative and quantitative improvements while ensuring continuous customer service.
• Ensure the security of the warehouse environment, maintain access control, and uphold housekeeping standards.
• Monitor and maintain stock accuracy, ensuring physical stock aligns with the warehouse management system, and record all stock movements for accuracy.
• Supervise the warehouse team, manage day-to-day operations, conduct daily team briefs, and communicate clear and precise instructions and job expectations.
• Build a team philosophy and cultivate a team atmosphere to achieve company targets and objectives.
• Maintain a training matrix to ensure employees are adequately trained and competent in their roles, ensuring operational flexibility.
• Coach the team daily to focus on common goals and consistently meet business objectives.
• Plan, manage, and adjust staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate staff records, ensuring holidays and hours are logged timely.
• Oversee the delivery drivers, ensuring adherence to delivery routines and procedures.
