Our school is currently looking to recruit a passionate Secondary SEND Teacher who is dedicated to promoting student development and providing exceptional support for students with Autism, Learning Difficulties, and Complex Needs. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary Special Needs Teacher to join our team starting in September 2024, following the summer holiday. This position is long-term, with the potential for permanency based on performance and organisational needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs and abilities of students with Autism, Learning Difficulties, and Complex Needs.
- Implement differentiated instruction strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to student learning and growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods as needed to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student achievements, attendance, and behaviour.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on student progress and collaborate on intervention strategies.
