A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an RCVS Tier 2 accredited, VNTP, two-site small animal practice based in the bustling city of Wolverhampton. Known for its rich cultural diversity, Wolverhampton is a thriving centre for arts and live entertainment and offers a wide variety of places to wine, dine, and dance the night away.

Our client has been established in the area for over 20 years, providing expert animal care to their clients. They are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys both surgery and consulting. This role comes with a varied caseload and they are keen to support your career development.

In this role, you will conduct consulting sessions and surgical operations, enjoy breaks in their cosy staff room, and collaborate with the team to provide exceptional care to all animal patients. You will also handle client follow-up and reporting tasks while cultivating a positive team dynamic.

The team is composed of 4 Vets across their two sites, working alongside a knowledgeable and experienced team of 9 RVNs, SVNs, ACAs, and receptionists. They have certified RVNs in feline nursing, nutrition, behaviour, and Fear Free. Additionally, 3 of the team members are qualified mental health first aiders, ensuring that there's always someone on shift to speak to.

The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including Endoscopy, Ultrasound, Dental X-rays, full Idexx labs, and an Orthopaedic kit.

The Rota:
• Full time role - 40 hour week
• 4 day week
• Shifts are either 8:30am to 6:30pm or 9:00am to 7:00pm
• 1:4 Saturday mornings
