Your new company
Your new job as a Construction Account handler will be working for a privately-owned Global Lloyd's Broker with offices based around the UK and Worldwide, with their head office based in the City. They have a dedicated team of over 5000 employees who prides themselves on having an entrepreneurial cultural that their clients benefit from. Due to continued successful growth within the Construction division they are looking to recruit a Construction Account handler to join them in a client, market-facing role to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service across the Construction team.

Your new role
Working as a Construction Account Handler, you are responsible for providing excellent day-to-day service delivery to a mixed portfolio of mid to large corporate UK and European Construction clients and projects. Your company deliver innovative insurance placements and risk management services for organisations involved in the real estate & construction sectors. Specialising in the provision of insurance services and risk management advice, the team work with a broad spectrum of organisations including main contractors, specialist sub-contractors, amongst others.
Duties will include research, prepare and present renewal reports, obtain quotations for both or new and renewal business. Prepare market presentations and serve clients ensuring exceptional service. Other duties will include building relationships with insurers, lawyers and loss adjusters as well as act t as a point of referral for junior staff and present solutions for discussion with account team where required.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working in Construction insurance, ideally gained from a brokerage. Technical knowledge of not only construction risks but also experience of associated casualty lines of business. Excellent communications skills and the ability to attend external client meetings when required. They are looking for someone that has the energy and appetite to learn and proven can develop and progress within our business.
