Waiting staff (No live in accommodation)
We are actively recruiting for experienced Waiting on Staff for our client based in the St Mawes area.
No live in accommodation available.
Temporary roles covering the month of June.
The perfect candidate must have a desire for Hospitality, can work under pressure and think on their feet. Can provide multitasking and excellent communication skills.
The role:
• Greet customers as they enter premises and see them to a table, ensuring any special requirements are actioned.
• Ensure the highest level of customer service is always provided throughout the customer’s entire experience.
• Take customers’ drink and food orders accurately.
• Work with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure food and drink orders are accurately fulfilled.
• Ensure food is served to customers in a timely fashion and provided with necessary accompaniments and condiments.
• Ensure proficiency in the ins and outs of the menu and any allergens or dietary requirements from the guests and to ensure that this is fully communicated to the kitchen.
• Check that the customer has everything they need at relevant intervals.
• Make necessary drinks, operate the coffee machine and provide the necessary desserts.
• Ensure to complete the end of shift to-dos; mise en place for next service, polishing of glassware and cutlery, cleaning of service areas etc
• Provide great customer service.
• Working in a professional team
• (No staff accommodation)
Requirements:
• Must have waiting on experience.
• Due to location be able to drive and have transportation.
Rate and Hours:
• £12.25 per hour
• Mileage paid at .40p per mile for a driver.
• Covering the Month of June
• 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday.
• 4pm- Midnight covering 5 days out of 7 including weekends.
We pay weekly, every Friday, plus holiday.
