Do you have professional or personal knowledge and understanding of learningdisabilitiesorautismand want tomakea difference?

Coventry and Warwickshire’s Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Team arerecruiting facilitator trainers to deliver online and face-to-face training alongside ourlivedexperience expertco-trainers.

The training will be co-delivered to help people understand their role in supportingpeople with a learning disability and autistic people and the difference they canmaketo improve care.

We have a big task ahead of us with over 45,000 people to train across health andsocial care, so we need people who share our passion to get it right for people with alearningdisability andautistic people.

The training day will start at 8.30 and finish at 5.30.

You will work alongside experts with lived experience co-trainers who will be autistic people and people with a learning disability. You will support them to thrive at work.

The training will be co-delivered to help people understand their role in supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and the difference they can make to improve care. This training will take place both through eLearning (online training), interactive online training sessions and through face-to-face training days.
