Summary

Care Assistant: Alcedo Care

Pay Rates starting from £14.00 per hour PLUS Pension Plus Holiday Pay

Our complex care packages give you the opportunity to work with children and adults both in their own homes and out in community. Supporting them with their daily needs and engaging in both physical and educational enrichment activities tailored to each client. You will be required to work within Cumbria including Carlisle, Wigton and the surrounding areas.

At Alcedo Care your role may involve:

Supporting with community outings

Managing Challenging behaviour

Severe autism or learning difficulties.

Mental health support

Medication assistance

Personal care

What do I need to have to be successful?

Hold a full valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Be available to work on a weekend on weekend off basis.

Have excellent communication and people skills.

A willingness to take on challenges and new experiences.

Be confident working with both children and adults in community settings.

Pass an enhanced DBS background check.

Previous experience in care is desirable but not always necessary. Please note you must be over 18 years of age to apply due to the nature of our roles.
