Machine Embroidery Operator - Textiles | Bedworth, Coventry | Full Time – Part Time may be considered

Founded in 1685, our client is one of the world’s, oldest family run businesses and holder of a Royal Warrant. The business designs and makes jewellery, embroidery, medals, ribbon & insignia, and a broad range of other identity-based products for state institutions and corporate clients around the world.

As a Machine Embroidery Operator your role will be to operate, maintain and run multi head embroidery machines.

What will your role look like?

• Working within a team operating a variety of machines ensuring that products are manufactured to the correct quality and specifications
• Observe and understand the machine operations ensuring set up is correct, be able to fine tune, troubleshoot and correct faults as required to optimise production
• Routine inspection of machinery and equipment used within the department
• Use the technology provided to analyse efficiency data to improve machine performance
• Ensure machines, spares and auxiliary equipment are kept at the required levels for maximum efficiency
• Support and report issues to the management team as appropriate
• Complete relevant documentation promptly and accurately
• Operate machines as required
• Train, develop and support employees and apprentices within the department
• Ensure good housekeeping
• Work to ISO 9001 & 14001 standards (full training will be given)
