Summary

Who we are:

Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistant agency's to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to healthcare professionals in various settings, including care homes and home care environments. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to assist in implementing care plans effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care
- Support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Maintain accurate records and update care plans as directed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
- Drive or plan through public transport to work within different locations as needed
-Daily activities such as personal care; meal preparation; medication and administration
-Getting to know the people you will care for and help them to live the life they want to live
-Taking personal responsibility for the quality of care and assistance delivered to the people you will care for
-Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people you will take care of
-Helping the people you will assist plan towards and achieve both short and long term aims
- Planning and be in favour of activities, such as vacations, learning and social engagements always being creative and exploring new opportunities
-Assisting the people, you will assist to manage their personal affairs making, preparing for, and attending any appointments
-Ensuring the people, you will assist and their families, are treated with respect, dignity, and equality

Person Specification & Experience:

-Have a minimum of 6 months’ experience of working in care and are comfortable using hoists etc
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards patients
You must be:
-Serious about a career in support
-Resilient!
-Enthusiastic & highly motivated
-Able to make decisions and support others
-A full UK Driving License is preferred due to location
