The Community Partnerships Service, which sits within Housing & Communities, has undertaken an exciting workforce review to ensure the service is better placed to support, empower, and protect individuals and communities and is now looking for an Anti-Social Behaviour Team Leader to manage our Anti-Social Behaviour Team.



About the role



This is an exciting role, which has recently been refreshed and will require you to manage a team of officers to problem solve domestic related anti-social behaviour, hate crime and “cuckooing” related exploitation.


You will have an opportunity to work in partnership with other council services, external agencies and communities to ensure problem solving is effective and support the delivery of projects and community engagement events across the town.



Main Duties and responsibilities



Manage the ASB Team and ensure the effective and efficient resolution of allocated cases through a victim focussed response.
Support the development and implementation of ASB related and victim support frameworks.
Oversee the organisation of relevant people focussed problem solving meetings, and Community Right to Review meetings.
Support the overarching Community Partnerships Service to achieve its aim of supporting communities to feel safe and inclusive.

About you



We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Team Leader with a passion for community safety and problem solving. You will have experience working in the field of problem solving, using anti-social behaviour legislation and tools and working in partnership with agencies and communities to problem solve.



You’ll be part of a team that relies on each individual to play their part to the best of their ability. As well as the colleagues that you work closely with every day, you’ll also be part of Team Reading, playing your personal part in making Reading a successful and vibrant place.
